Inauguration Ceremony of the Glorious
Drikung Bhumang Jampaling Monastery.


1.     On 26^th of February 2010, 
A message from His Holiness the 14^th Dalai Lama will be read out,
and His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche,
ministeries and dignitaries of the State Government, ministries of the
Tibetan Government in exile and religious leaders of the region will
address an opening ceremony.Right after the speeches,
the traditional dances and other performances will be presented.

2.     On 27^th of February 2010,
H. H. Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche will perform a purification
and  consecration ceremony for the interior and exterior of the
newly built  Drikung Bhumang Jampaling Monastery. At the main
shrine of the Monastery the representation of the Body,
Speech and Mind of the Buddha will be on display
for worshiping by all people. After that dances and other
performances will be presented.

3.  On the 28^th of February 2010,
In the morning: H. H. Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche will give
a teaching and instructions on Phowa for all the people.

4. On the 28^th of February 2010,
In the afternoon: H. H. Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche
will bestow an empowerment and teachings of Amitayus Buddha
(Long Life Empowerment).

At the end of the Inaugural function an extensive mandala offering
will be made as a token of thanks to His Holiness Drikung Kyabgon
Chetsang Rinpoche.
