親愛的朋友，
你們會很高興知道在「綠化有機」活動之下，我們在 拉達克 進行一項雄心壯志的建立人造冰川計劃，是為了對付融化喜馬拉雅冰川的挑戰。這中間不僅僅是解決農民水資源危機的問題，也幫助了 拉達克 沙漠綠化，還有其他山區冬季缺水的問題。
這個活動最近由印度「查謨 - 克什米爾」邦的總督和我自己在一次氣候變化國際會議上展開。
現在在10月20日的週一，我們會推出一項活動，資助「冰凍佛塔人造冰川」計畫，並在這個網路平台 Indiegogo.com 募款。 我將會很高興，如果你們能散播這項活動內容，並透過你們朋友間社群媒體轉發這封信函 。

Here is the text of the letter from HH DKC:
Dear Friends,
You will be happy to know that under the Go Green Go Organic movement, we are working on an ambitious project to build artificial glaciers in Ladakh in order to combat the challenge of melting glaciers in the Himalayas. This will not only solve the water crisis among the farmers but also help green deserts in Ladakh and other mountain regions which have water shortage and a cold winter season.
This campaign was recently launched by the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir state in India and myself at an International conference on Climate Change.
Now on Monday the 20th October we are launching the campaign to support this Ice Stupa Artificial Glacier project on the crowd-funding platform Indiegogo.com . I shall be very happy if you could spread the word about this campaign among your friends on social media and by forwarding this email.
Your contribution however small or big will help the project, and experts say that if significant collection happens in the first three days of the campaign then it helps in making other people take more interest and contribute. All the donations will finally come into the official account of Pheyang Monastery in Ladakh which has government authorization to receive foreign contribution.
So I hope very much that together with you and your friends we can make this project a success. This is not just for Pheyang village or Ladakh region but also for the entire Himalayan range and in fact for the rest of the world too.
And I feel the Ice Stupa project is not just for the needs of the human beings but also to save the lives of the animals, birds and insects.
